Operation Instructions for pH Meter
- Remove the protective cap.
- Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it with filter paper.
- Turn on the meter by pressing the "ON/OFF" button.
- Immerse the electrode in the solution to be tested (ensure the solution does not go beyond the immersion line).
- Stir gently and wait for approximately 30 seconds until the reading stabilizes.
- After use, clean the electrode with pure water and turn off the meter by pressing the "ON/OFF" button.
- Always replace the protective cap after use.
Calibration Instructions
- Turn on the pH meter.
- Dissolve each buffer solution in 250 ml of distilled water.
- Immerse the electrode in the pH 6.86 solution (at a temperature of 25°C).
- Press the "CAL" button for 5 seconds and release. The display will flash 6.86. Wait until it stops flashing.
- Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it with filter paper.
- Immerse the electrode in the pH 4.00 solution. Press the "CAL" button for 5 seconds, then press and release it immediately for a second time. The display will flash 4.00. Wait until it stops flashing.
- Rinse the electrode with distilled water and dry it as before.
- If the test solution’s approximate pH is above 7.0, calibrate the meter using 6.86 and 9.18 solutions by following the same procedure.
